Quotes:

It's human nature to gripe, but I'm going ahead and doing the best I can.

PERSONAL DEFINITION:
I think that to 'gripe' means to cling, or to clutch really tightly, or grab hold of.

I think griping is a greedy, if not almost vicious way of getting what you want.
In an application sense, when we gripe, we fix our minds to something, and we squeeze it, and hold on with stubbornness and don't let go, then we can be so good at getting what we want, and we can decieve our selves too.
Sometimes when we want something bad enough, we can trick our minds into thinking its right, and we can become very selfish and stubborn and fixed to our cause, which will cause ignorence and a lot of fear and anxiety about getting what you want all the time.
It's probably better to trust the Lord and his Justice and Mercy and have Him be your strength instead of all the things you want to gripe at.
